Effect of light and temperature on seedlings raised under sodium chloride salinity.

The growth of wheat (triticum aestivum L) jute (corchorus capsularis L) and maize (zea mays L) cultured on the control and saline (NaCl) media were studied in dark and light. Sodium chloride showed an intensity effect on the growth of seedlings and this effect was enhanced with increase in light intensity and temperature.
