Pineapple (Ananas comosos (L.) Merr.) is one of the important fruits in Taiwan. Prior to flower-initiation, Tainung No. 13 contains generally lower concentration of calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg) and boron (B) in leaves than Smooth Cayneen.
