TOLERANCE OF ALBIZIA LEBBECK (L) BENTH TO DIFFERENT LEVELS OF LEAD IN NATURAL FIELD CONDITIONS

Abstract
Lead produced significant effects on different growth parameters of Albizia lebbeck (L.) Benth such as root, shoot, seedling length, leaf area, plant circumference and seedling dry biomass in natural field conditions. Seedling growth performance of A. lebbeck showed low level of tolerance with increasing concentrations of lead treatments from 25 to 125µmol/L.
