Abstract

Experiment was conducted in the fields of University of Agriculture Faisalabad, field of Plant Breeding and Genetics. Total 10 lines were selected and crossed in Line × Tester pattern in which 7 lines (ZM-M-6, ZN-M-9, DGL, Cyclon, Duncled, Rainboo and Shiralee) and 3 testers (ZMR-3, ZMR-2 and ZN-R-1) were used. Breeding material were developed by crossing in one season by using line × tester mating design. Total 31 genotypes (10 parents & 21 crosses) were assessed for various seed yield associated attributes. Data were recorded for the plant height, days taken to 50% flowering, number of primary branches per plant, number of siliques per plant, number of seeds per siliqua, siliqua length, 100-seed weight, seed yield per plant.
