Automatic irrigation either in the form of drip or sprinkler is used which saves water and labor. Agrochemicals are used in huge quantity in agriculture which is harmful for human health and pollutes theenvironment. Robots are also new technology working on IoT which is base of smart agriculture and perform many functions from field preparation to harvesting and storing. Agriculture robots in the form of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) are used for diseases detection, identification and pesticide spraying, weed mapping and control and many other duties of agriculture farm. Agriculture robots perform their tasks efficiently and save resources and labor. This article reviews the advanced technologies used in smart agriculture for water management, pesticide spraying, weed control and use of robots in agriculture.
