PHYTO-FABRICATION OF SILVER NANO PARTICLES FROM SAPHORA MOLIS, CHARACTERIZATION AND ANTI FUNGAL ASSAY AGAINST PYROFOMES DEMIDOFII, A WOOD ROTOR

Abstract
Pyrofomes demidofii a pathogenic fungus is considered as wood rotor and responsible for white heart rot infection in juniper forest around the world including Juniper excelsa forest Ziarart, Pakistan. Considerable economic harm could be produced due to the injurious impact of this fungus on trees. To overcome this problem it is necessary to develop and design new strategies and tools. For the control and eradication of Pyrofomes demidofii, the silver at nano scale can be used as an effective anti fungal agent. In this research phyto mediated AgNPS was synthesized, characterized and evaluated the inhibitory effect on growth against pathogenic Pyrofomes demidofii and found effective tool. The fungus susceptibility of AGNPs synthesized from Saphora mollis was evaluated for the first time against the wood rotor.
