The ITS clone and phylogenetic analyze of powdery mildew infect Cucurbitaceous Vegetables

Abstract
powdery mildew is the main disease infect cucurbitaceous vegetables. It is very important to powdery mildew’s prophylaxis and treatment that authenticate the species of PM and research the law of evolution. This study collected the conidium of PM from melon and bottle gourd, clone and sequence the ITS. Our studying identifies that the powdery mildew we collected is Podosphaera xanthii, and builds a phylogenetic tree to analyze the evolution rule of powdery mildew with the ITS sequences of the funguses belonging to Podosphaera, Golovinomyces and Arthrocladiella from NCBI. This is the basics of lucubrate the variation and evolution of powdery mildew.
