Abstract
Rhizosphere soil resides several microfungal species that plays a key role in growth regulation of P. vulgaris. The study was conducted to isolate the culturable micromycetes from rhizosphere soil of P. vulgaris in Lahore, Pakistan. There were nine culturable micromycetes were isolated using culture method. All the species were belonged to Ascomycota. Two of them were newly reported fungal species from Pakistan named Trichoderma erinaceus and Talaromyces pinophilus. The study will be a new fungal record of Pakistan
