R. aliya and gina arce
Abstract

an epilithic periphyton community howed significant seasonal changes I species composition , abundance and photosynthetic rates in a slow-flowing , mammade stream. Blue green algae were dominant during summer, diatoms were dominant during spring and winter, and green algae dominated the community during fal. The highest photosynthetic rates were found in winter with 240C as the optimum temperatures for production in all seasons.
