Screening and identification of antagonistic fungi against cucumber anthracnose and study on potted control effect

Xi Zhao
Abstract

Cucumber anthracnose seriously endangers the yield and quality of cucumber. In order to enrich the biocontrol resources of cucumber anthracnose, 8 strains of antagonistic fungi with obvious inhibitory bands were initially screened from soil by the method of plate confrontation, and the inhibitory effect of their fermentation broth was ressiened by the method of bacteria dish containing toxic medium. The result shows that Strain X0106 performed better, the inhibition band of initial screening was 8.56mm, and the inhibition rate of secondary screening fermentation liquid was 64.24%. The strain X0106 was identified as Penicillium chalabudae by morphological and molecular identification. The experimental study found that the sterile fermentation broth of the antagonizing strain X0106 had a certain degree of inhibitory effect on a variety of pathogenic bacteria. In addition to the good inhibitory effect on anthrax of cucumber, the inhibition rate of Colletotrichum nymphaeae, Fusarium. oxysporum, Alternaria alternata, C.higginsianum and Botrytis. cinerea was relatively high. They were 79.41%, 76.42%, 74.77%, 70.15% and 70.10%, respectively. The control effect of strain X0106 was tested in pot culture, and the control effect was 55.49%.
