ADDITION TO THE FLORA OF THE KUHITANG BOTANICAL-GEOGRAPHICAL REGION: THE GENUS IRIS

Abstract
The article presents the results of field studies (2021–2022) of the diversity of species of the genus Iris L. in the Kuhitang botanical-geographical region of the Western Hissar district, as well as a critical study of samples from the National Herbarium of Uzbekistan (TASH). The studies carried out made it possible to expand the flora of Kuhitang ridge with new species Iris svetlanae (Vved.) T. Hall & Seisums of rare and listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the genus of Iris, as well as to expand the ranges of endemics I. stolonifera Maxim., I. warleyensis Foster of the Western Pamir-Alay. Based on the results of the research were compiled grid maps of the distribution are species of Iris.
