MONOCULTURE OF EUGLENA SP. ON CHU#10 MEDIUM AND BOLD’S BASAL MEDIUM FOR THE BEST GROWTH OF VARIOUS CROPS

Abstract
Abstract: Euglena sp. is a freshwater microalga that common primary producer in aquatic ecosystems where it produces a large biomass with beneficial metabolites that have high commercial value. Therefore, it has widely applied in food, medicine and supplements and it is considered a potential source of biofuel. It is therefore, important to enhance its yield a lower cost for its commercial viability. The culturing of Euglena sp. beneficial for the growth of various crops as CHU#10 and Bold’s Basal media observed for best growth of Euglena.
