Abstract
A well‐known edible Macrofungi, Flammulina yunnanensis, Leucocoprinus cretaceus and Termitomyces heimii which were collected during a fungal biodiversity study in Pakistan. A combined morphological and molecular approach was used to characterize these specimens. The basis for molecular characterization was nrDNA ITS, a universal barcode marker for the identification of fungi. These speices Flammulina yunnanensis, Leucocoprinus cretaceus and Termitomyces heimii are described here as a new record as well as the edible mushroom from Pakistan.
