Abstract
The present study was conducted at the research farm and Horticulture lab of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Khiala, P.O., Padhiana, District Jalandhar, Punjab ,India during 2020 and 2021. The experiment was conducted in Randomized Block Design comprising of 9 treatments with 3 replications (T0 - Control, T1- GA3 @ 20 ppm, T2 - GA3 @ 30 ppm, T3 - GA3 @ 40 ppm, T4 - NAA @ 15 ppm, T5 - NAA @ 20 ppm, T6 - NAA @ 25 ppm, T7 - GA3 @ 30 ppm + NAA @ 20 ppm, T8 - GA3 @ 40 ppm + NAA @ 25 ppm). In present study among all the treatments, treatment T8 - GA3 @ 40 ppm + NAA @ 25 ppm showed highest number of leaves per plant (56), plant height (82.46 cm), number of flowers per plant (44.8), number of fruits (22.9), fruit diameter (5.83 cm), fruit weight (50.27 g), TSS (5.32 oBrix), fruit yield per plot (20.68 kg/plot) and fruit yield per hectare (344.69 q/ha). ). It is suggested that the application of GA3 + NAA can be helpful to the farmers in enhancing the yield and quality parameters of tomato crop.
