INFLUENCE OF ORGANIC MATTER, BENEFICAL MICROBES AND MICRONUTRIENTS ON YIELD AND YIELD COMPONENTS OF WHEAT

SYED ASHFAQ ALI
Abstract

The field experiment was carried out to examined the yield and yield components of wheat (Triticum aestivum L., Khaista 2017) to poultry manure sources (PMS) and zinc levels (Zn). Theses Experiments were carried out under with and without bioaab at Agriculture Research station Harichand charsadda-pakistan. During winter 2020-2021. The experiment was led in randomized completely block design having three replications combined over bioaab. Results indicated that bioaab treated plots noted highest days to physiological maturity (161 d), plant height (99.3 cm), leaves tiller-1 (6.5), mean leaf area (99 cm-2), leaf area index (99.2), number of fertile tiller (254 m-2), grains spike-1 (50), thousand grains weight 41 g), biological yield (9565 kg ha-1), grain yield (4051 kg ha-1) and harvest index (4203 %). Amongst poultry manure treated sources (PM), urea treated poultry manure (UTPM) recorded maximum days to maturity (161 d), plant height (99.8 cm), leaves tiller-1 (6.3), mean leaf area (98.1 cm-2), LAI (98.2), number of productive tiller (260 m-2), grains spike (51), thousand grains weight (42.9 g), biological yield (9678 kg ha-1), grain yield (4139 kg ha-1) and harvest index (42.8 %). Amongst zinc levels (Zn), 15 kg Zn ha-1 noted to enhanced physiological maturity (161 d), plant height (98.7 cm), number of leaves tiller-1 (6.2), single leaf area (98.4 cm-2), LAI (98.4), number of productive tiller (258 m-2), grains spike-1 (51), thousand grains weight (41g), biological yield (9796 kg ha-1), grain yield (4170 kg ha-1) and harvest index (42.6 %). It is concluded from the experiment were examined that both with and without bioaab treated plots, application of poultry manure source in form of urea treated poultry manure and zinc level at rate of 15 kg ha-1 could enhanced yield and yield components of wheat in the research area.
