Pozdnyakova Yelena
Abstract

In this work, we have studied the biological diversity of wild herbs growing in the climatic conditions of Central Kazakhstan. As a result of field research, 40 wild spice plants species belonging to 17 families were found. As a result of studying the literature (recipes of national cuisines of nations living in the territory of Central Kazakhstan), the methods of using these wild plants as herbs were found. The medicinal value of the herbs found was studied by searching the Google Scholar, Medline and Scopus databases. The search was carried out using various keywords, including the Latin names of the found plant species. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that wild spice plants growing in the territory of Central Kazakhstan have a wide range of taste diversity and prospects for successful use as medicinal components.
