The present study was planned to document the ethno veterinary practices (EVPs) used for treatment of Post-Partum disorders in Bovines. For the documentation of EVPs used for post-partum disorders, total 200 different respondents were interviewed. Overall four post-partum diseases (Hypocalcemia, Agalactia, Prolapse, Pyometra) were surveyed for EVPs and 46 plant species were documented for post-partum disorders of bovines in the district Rawalpindi. All herbal ingredients of EVPs were indigenous to Rawalpindi. Total 68 EVPs were documented for post-partum disorders. Most commonly used plant species were Bracissa comapestris and Trachyspermum ammi for post-partum agalactia, and Linum usitatissimum and Capsicum pubescens for post-partum hypo-calcemia, prolapse and agalactia. Enlistment of ingredients, quantity of ingredients, recipe of preparation, dose and frequency of dose and mode of administration were main concern during study period. In second phase of study, 12 different EVPs were selected. Selected EVPs were subdivided into three treatments (T1, T2, T3) and clinically trailed on farm animals like cows and buffalo.
