Abstract
Climate change has emerged as critical challenge to global food security with developing countries facing more severe consequences because their large part of economy depends on agriculture sector. Rising Temperature, changing rainfall patterns, floods and droughts affect crop productivity. These changes threaten the availability, access and stability of food putting millions of people at risk of hunger. There is urgent need of sustainable agro-climatic management and programs with the aim of awareness of farmers to reduce impacts of climatic variations on food production systems. This review examines the link between climatic alteration and nutritional security and explores the growing threat of climatic shifts to global food system stability with special focus on evidence from to Pakistan. In Pakistan, the occurrence of destructive floods of 2022 and 2025 reflects alarming impacts of changing climate. Pakistan remains among the most critically affected countries due to its weak resilience and higher exposure to climate related disasters. Decrease in effects of climatic alteration is not just environmental necessity, it is very necessary for sustainable and long- term availability of food in future.
