Research on the Application and Effectiveness of Big Data Analysis Technology in Water Resource Management in Context of Digital age

Abstract

Water is a critical natural resource; its management constitutes the vanguard for environmental stewardship and development. This is why the conventional approach to WRM methods often faces significant challenges in collecting, processing, and analyzing the necessary data and making informed decisions. In the announcement, the application and effectiveness of big data analysis technologies (BDA) give WRM new opportunities in the digital era for waste reduction management. This study considers technology and BDA applications to manage water resources in the present day, focusing on what they might do for the present. Still, it explores most of the uses for various applications of many technologies, including machine learning and deep learning, for predicting water demand, allocating water, and monitoring water quality. Another aspect of the work is to examine what BDA can provide, which is explained below. It shows that many possible data sources, such as social media, IoT devices, and remote sensing systems, can be used. The outcomes reveal to what extent some of these technologies can be integrated into the WRM activities and scenarios for rational water use in the context of the modern digital world.
