LIPID AND FATTY ACID COMPOSITION IN LOCAL STRAINS

Abstract
It has been revealed that the lipid composition at Anabaena variabilis 17 on nitrogen-free culture medium contains 15 fatty acids, of which 9 are saturated fatty acids (C10:0, C12:0, C14:0, C15:0, C16:0, C17:0, C18:0, C20:0, and C22:0) and 6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (C16:1, C18:1, C18:3, C18:4, C18:2, and C20:1). When culturing on a medium with the addition of nitrogen found that the synthesis of the same acids except for behenic acid (C22:0).
