Abstract: Euphorioxylon thanobolensis sp.nov., a new silicified wood has been  described from Tertiary Manchhar formation exposed near Thanobola khan, district Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan.  The xylotomical features of the present fossil show close resemblance to the genus Euphoria of the family Sapindaceae. The absence of growth rings indicates that plants were growing in tropical type of climate. This is the first report from this locality.
