Abstract: Karyotype structure of two Iris L., species viz., Iris
galatica Siehe and Iris kerneriana Ascherson & Sint
ex Baker collected from Central Black Sea Region of Turkey have been
analysed. Chromosome number determined is I. galatica 2n=24,
