	*ISOLATION OF BIOACTIVE ALKALOIDS FROM GENTIANA OLIVIERI* AND ITS NON-TOXIC EFFECT** ARSALA MANSOOR, MUDASSIR I. ZAIDI* AND M.A.K. MALGHANI Abstract:** From the chloroformlic extract of Gentiana olivieri plant, two alkaloids gentianine and gentianadine were isolated and their structures established on the basis of spectral data and by comparison with the known compounds.
