DISTRIBUTION OF PEROXIDASE IN REGENERATING ROOT SEGMENTS OF TARAXACUM OFFICINALE WEB.

Abstract: Qualitative and quantitative measurements of the activity of peroxidase was carried out in the regenerating and non-regenerating parts of Taraxacum officinale Web., root cuttings. High peroxidase activity was found in the differentiating tissues as compared to the non-regenerating ones. A relationship between the peroxidase activity and the formation of new tissues was observed.
